Hello everyone!

Spring is in the air – time for daylight saving, evening cookouts, St Patty’s Day, baseball, and exciting weather – one of my most favorite times of the year! It’s also a wonderful time to get out there and search for your future home!  And if you have intentions of selling your current property, what better time to showcase it – when the sun shines longer, when your landscaping comes to life, and when the buzz of “new beginnings” starts coursing through our veins. I’d love to help you Spring into action this month to buy or sell your home, so contact me today, and we’ll charge into your March real estate goals like lions instead of lambs this year.

Thanks,
Kay

Real Estate " Whats Up?"

After an “extensive $36 million renovation,” The Stoneleigh Hotel and Spa has officially reopened for business...and your pleasure.  If you’re interested in actually living there, The Heritage at The Stoneleigh promises that “your dream [can] become your address.” Read more about the splendor in this Dallas Morning News article.

Fancy yourself a real estate forecaster? If the answer is “no,” but you’d still like to be “in the know,” I encourage you to read What’s In Store for 2008: The Outlook for the Residential Real Estate Market by two bona fide experts at the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University.

Candy Evans, over at DallasDirt, posted a recap of a recent Keller Williams North Dallas Office presentation, which I think gives some good insight on the current, sometimes confusing state of affairs in our local real estate market.

Tax time is just around the corner, and as a homeowner or seller, you are entitled to a few tax breaks.  QuickenLoans has a good list of the Top Ten Tax Deductions for Homeowners.

Of course, if you’re interested in finding out more about our local housing market conditions, trends, and reports, you can definitely contact me!
